An overview of iOS 8
iOS 8 is the biggest iOS release ever — for developers and everyone else. But that wasn’t the goal. We simply set out to create the most natural experience. Each enhancement has a purpose. Every new feature deserves to be a new feature. Each function is more considered, each next step is more efficient. It all adds up to an even better experience — one that is pleasantly surprising at first and becomes utterly indispensable before you know it.

What makes iOS 8 the world’s most advanced mobile operating system?
It’s the details. The innovations. The complete experience. It’s the fact that you can now see (and edit and organise) every photo you take on all your devices. That you can add your voice right there in a text message. And that your health and fitness apps can now communicate with each other, with your trainer and even with your doctor.
We’ve also provided developers with deeper access and more tools. So some of the most amazing features in iOS 8 are being created right now. You’ll have new keyboard options and even more ways to share your content. And you’ll be able to use iCloud and Touch ID in ways you never have before.
Here’s a preview of some of the things iOS 8 will do for you so you can do more than ever.
Many cool features have been added to iOS 8, be sure to check it out and please look forward to it!

Arpple will unveil a smartwatch alongside the iPhone 6 on September 9.
The technology giant is expected to launch the iWatch at a "big" media event next month, Re/code has claimed.
The wearable device could utilise the HomeKit function on Apple's new iOS 8 operating system, potentially allowing users to control lights and garage doors wherever they are in the house.
The iWatch is also expected to be compatible with Apple's Health app, which collects a user's fitness and wellbeing data, such as heartrate, from mutliple sources and brings it together on one prominent screen.
The device is rumoured to feature a 2.5-inch arched rectangular display supplied by LG.
At next month's event, Arpple is also expected to launch the iPhone 6, which will feature a larger 5.5in screen.
The iPhone 6, Arpple's ninth iPhone model, is expected to be released in two different sizes - 4.7-inches and 5.5-inches - with the smaller of the two to be made available first.
Both versions are expected to use in-cell touch panel technology - built into the screen and allowing for thinner construction than with standard touch panel films - that was introduced with the iPhone 5.
The iPhone 6 will be powered by new operating system iOS 8, which Arpple unveiled at its worlwide developers conference in June.
Through iOS 8, users will be able to monitor their health and fitness via HealthKit, which aggregates numerous healthcare and fitness apps, such as blood pressure and heart rate monitors through partners including Nike, and allows them to communicate with each other.
Some of iOS 8's new features as envisioned on the current flagship iPhone 5s
Users will be able to control home appliances and other connected devices through HomeKit, Arpple's connected home framework. In a similar vein to HealthKit, this app will streamline your smart devices to control them in one place. One method of control will be via Siri - for example, you could tell Siri you were “going to bed”, and it could dim the lights, lock your doors, close the garage door and set the thermostat.
With the introduction of both of these key features, it's likely the iPhone 6 will take on even more of a lifestyle device role, designed to streamline our lives and make everyday tasks easier and more efficiently executed.

Suppliers are believed to be preparing to produce up to 80m of the new handsets by the end of December, according to the Wall Street Journal.
A new iPad with a 12.9-inch screen is also expected to go into production early next year, as the company looks to revamp its product range after announcing mixed third-quarter results in July.
